How to Use the Roadkill Entry Form


Step 1: Enter the Animal’s Species
– In the “Animal Species” field, type the name of the animal you found.

Step 2: Upload a Photo
– Click on the “Choose File” button under “Photo of Animal” to upload a picture.
– Make sure the photo is clear and relevant.

Step 3: Get Your Location
– Click the “Get Location” button to automatically fill in your GPS coordinates.
– If prompted, allow location access in your browser.

Step 4: Submit the Form
– Review the information to ensure accuracy.
– Click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the form.

Additional Notes
– All required fields must be filled out before submitting.
– If you experience any issues, refresh the page and try again.


Roadkill Report System Instructions


Report Pick-Up
– To report that you picked up all or some of the roadkill, click the “Report Pick Up” button and the Full and Partial Pick up buttons will appear.

Full Pick-Up
– If you’ve fully picked up a reported roadkill, click the “Full Pick Up” button. This marks the roadkill entry as fully handled and removes it from the list. After you click this button, the system will display a confirmation message that the pick-up was successful.

Partial Pick-Up
– If you’ve picked up part of the reported roadkill, click the “Partial Pick Up” button. You will be asked to provide a note about what was picked up. After submitting the note, you can choose to update the photo of the entry, if needed.

Update Photo
– If you are reporting a partial pick up and you need to update the photo, click the “Update Photo” button to upload the new image. You can select a file using the file input field that appears. This helps keep the system up to date with current images of the roadkill.
